Arthurian League II v ISFA U17

On February 19th Henry Shephard and George Hockey shone in an Arthurian League Representative side comeback victory against the Independant Schools FA (ISFA) at Merchant Taylors. Henry played the full 90 minutes out of position at left back whilst George came on up front about 15 minutes before half-time. The opposition, who belied their U17 status, took the lead in the first half after the AL side failed to clear their lines presenting the oppo with a tap in. The second half was a different proposition altogether and after George had won a penalty, which was duly converted, the League side were in the ascendancy, they bundled the winner over the line in injury time which was no more than they deserved. George was a constant thorn in the side of the ISFA defence, whilst Henry produced a player of the match performance. Congratulations to both of them.
