Old Brentwoods II - League (H)

Still shy of a handful of key players an improving LOBs side lost 0-3 at home to a 'niggly' Brentwood IIs side yesterday. Finding themselves two down after a quarter of an hour the lads dug in and held their own until half-time. The second half was a scrappy affair with three yellow cards brandished by the ref, and unfortunately once again, having forged a number of decent openings in front of goal, we couldn't put any away. A third Brentwood goal with about ten minutes to go finally extinguished the LOBs' flame and means they go into next weekend's match against the Lancing 1st XI still looking for their first win of the season, it will come.
